Feature Updates

  • Jet Reports customers will have the ability to connect to D365 F&SCM data sources. (3397)
    • When connected via F&SCM, the table builder will display friendly names so that users can easily choose the data they would like to use in their report. (3647)
    • F&SCM connection will support all languages already supported by Jet. (3541)
    • While using an F&SCM data source, the field name will display to the user if a field does not have a caption or duplicate captions. (3343)
    • Jet Reports customers can use Drill-down functionality with F&SCM data sources. (3719)
    • D365 F&SCM Universal Connector has been added to the Licensing Portal, which will give users with permission the option to select the connector from the drop-down list. (3641)

Resolved Issues

  • Corrected an issue where, in some cases, intermittent data type errors occurred when running a report via SQL Direct Connection to Business Central (3500)
  • Corrected an issue where in Business Central and NAV data source types the UTC offset was being incorrectly applied to Time type fields, affecting the timing of scheduled reports (3484)
  • Corrected an issue where in some cases a report that included option value fields was not properly translating to the appropriate language when running the report. (3338)
  • Corrected an issue where in some cases the date format was displayed incorrectly in the Jet Reports Scheduler. (2459)
  • Resolved issues when reporting on flow fields from BC direct SQL data sources. (3518, 3365, 3461, 3510)
    • When a user runs a report with an Exist FlowField that is nested, the report will return the correct calculations without error. (3518)
    • Business Central on-premise Direct SQL data source will run reports containing FlowFields without error (3510)
    • Corrected an issue where Business Central on-premise Direct SQL data source was not recognizing extension FlowFields correctly (3461, 3365)

Feature Updates

  • Improved Performance when returning to Design Tab after running a report. (3318)
  • SaveAsCSV function and SaveAsTxt now support Regional List Separators, for example, a delimiter of a semi-colon instead of a comma. (1958)
  • Improved efficiency of retrieving data from the Date Table and Integer Table in Jet Reports. (3118)
  • Jet Reports users can select Azure A/D or Database Authentication on the Authentication Tab when the data source is a Jet Data Warehouse. (3323)
  • Updated the default connection for new customers from SOAP to ODATA to begin preparation for Microsoft's upcoming SOAP depreciation. (3502)
  • Jet Reports can now run against a data warehouse on an SQL Data Pool. (2863)
  • Corrected an issue where in some cases the entire zip file was not downloaded when upgrading versions from the Jet Ribbon in Excel. (3756)

Resolved Issues

  • Corrected an issue where in some cases NL(Count) would return an ambiguous column error with BC Direct SQL Connection. (1626)
  • Corrected an issue where NP Codeunit was returning an error when using the new ODATA connection with web services. (3033)
  • Corrected an issue where the Codeunit would not populate when using the new ODATA connection with web services. (3239)
  • Corrected an issue in the BC Extension, where in some cases error messages were not being displayed in OData (2827) (Impact: extension only)

Jet Hub

Feature Updates

  • Jet Hub users can select Azure A/D or Database Authentication on the Authentication Tab when the data source is a Jet Data Warehouse. (3326)
  • Enabled support for TLS 1.2 and 1.3. Please note: Jet Hub will no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1. (3417)
  • Improved security related to HTTP protocol for session related cookies. (3513)
  • Improved error message and HTTP header security. (3515)
  • Added the Read-Only Replica Application Intent setting to the Jet Hub data connection, giving customers the ability to connect to the read-only replica of their NAV database on the SQL cluster to run reports. (3203)
  • Improved security of Jet Hub Application Start event. (3419)

Installer

Feature Updates

  • Improved the verbiage of the Jet Service Tier error message that displays when a user does not have the required access during installation. (2651)
  • Updated the Jet Reports installer so that users can now install using an Azure SQL public endpoint when Azure is in a different virtual network. (3425)
