Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Metta -
Could you include a full screen shot (of the entire screen) so that we can see where in the process that this error is being displayed? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
Here i attach the screen shot. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks, Metta.
Given the unusual nature of the error, here is what I would suggest…
Download a new copy of the installation program and run that new copy to see if it results in the same issue.
If the issue does continue, at what point in the process does the error occur (what screens do you see and what do you click on)? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts hi,
I already download a new copy of the installation program (from http://jetexpress.jetreports.com/regionhome.php) and when i run that new copy it results in the same issue.
I just double click the Icon of Jet Express Setup (1) and the error occur. I already try click Run As Administrator but the same error occur.
Do you have any suggestion anywhere else i can download the installation program? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello Metta,
Have you reviewed the Windows Event Viewer to see if any details are provided about the application crash?
If there are details can you attach screenshots of the Event Viewer logs?
Best regards,

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello Metta,
This looks like it may be an issue with vm3dum.dll which is part of VMWare tools: https://communities.vmware.com/thread/3 … 0&tstart=0
You may need to contact VMWare for assistance as to why this DLL is causing items to crash.
What you may be able to do is run a command-line installation of Jet Essentials without adding an activation code, which will install as Jet Express.
Command-Line Install of Jet Essentials Using MSI: https://jetsupport.jetreports.com/hc/en … /218954178
If the GUI of the Jet Setup.exe is what is causing the vm3dum.dll to initiate the crash a non-GUI installation may resolve the issue.
Best regards,
MWilson
