I want to know which is the file that stores the datasources profiles and where. One reason is to create all the databases locally for my use and then replace with this for all users on the server.
Thanks!

Jet Reports Historic Posts %AppData%\Jet Reports\Data Sources.xml for the Data Sources
%AppData%\Jet Reports\Settings.xml for the Settings -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I can't find the Jet Reports folder under Application Data
EDIT: I'm using win xp if that makes any difference -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Ive just installed Jet 2009 and it appears.
i think that its a new feature for 2009 only as none of our other computers have that folder there. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I'm using version 7.1.2 build 1820…and I thought this was the latest version.
Where is version 9?? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts There is a build after 1820 (i think i was up to 1826)
if you go to http://www.support.jetreports.com
you may need to sign up for a free account.
on the very front page you will see the "Latest Download Files"
Jet V9 is there.
to check if youre allowed to Use it,
open your Jet License in Notepad.
if the "Updates thru" date is after today…you can. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Ouch…mine says 2010/04/29
EDIT: ooooooops we are still in 2009 :D   -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I have one pc with Jet Reports 7 setup and I want to copy the xml with the data sources from another pc with Jet Reports 2009. Where do I copy this file for Jet Reports 7? Is it an xml or something else?
Thanks -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Jackies,
Jet Reports version 7 stores its settings in the registry rather than in an xml file as 2009 does. I would not recommend running Jet Reports v7 on one machine and 2009 on another since there are things that have been added to Jet Reports 2009 that may not work in v7. The best thing to do is run the same version of Jet Reports on all computers. Then you can just export the data sources from the Jet Data Source Settings on one machine and import them on the other. Btw, Jet Reports 2010 was just released so there is now a newer version than 2009 as well. :-)

Jet Reports Historic Posts I second Hughes Advice
Have had major user headaches when they are not all on same page and in a couple cases even one version down was an issue
Incidentally I prefer 2009 to earlier versions anyway
