Jet Reports Historic Posts Is there a dialog box open on another screen or behind the main Excel window?
If you hover over the Excel icon in the Windows taskbar you will see if there is a second item open.
Switch to the dialog box, close it, and the menus should reappear. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts There are no Dialog Box behind Excel - after deactive the Add-in Menu bar is visible again

Jet Reports Historic Posts Do you have other add-ins that may be in conflict with Jet Express?
Try disabling other add-ins, enabling Jet, then re-applying the other add-ins one at a time to see what causes the conflict. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts We have disabled all Add-ins and then only activate Jet-Add-in - but there is no changes the Menu allways hide if we activate Jet-Add-in. But if we activate other Add-Ins the Menu will not hide.
So the Problem is realy Jet Reports and in the Jet Reports the funkction to activate the menu Bar is also disabled. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts This is not normally how jet functions, so we need to find what it different about your setup, or situation.
When the menus are not visible, can you click to enter a different workbook , then click back in the workbook you want to edit.
Do the menus reappear? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts If we opend two Sheets and Switch between them the Menu Bar are not visible also we not can activate them - if i start Excel twice there also no Menu Bar shown.
I have also chechked the Reg. Entry's there are no changes. If i disable the Jet addin the Menu are displayed. -

Jet Reports Historic Posts On my PC are running
Windows 7
Office 2007
Visual Studio 2008 with VSTO
Navison Classic and RTC
and i have Admin Rights -
Jet Reports Historic Posts When you installed Jet Express on Windows 7, did you install by right clicking the installer and choosing "Run as Administrator"?
If not, uninstall and install using this method. (even though you have admin rights , you still need to do this.) -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Install as admin don't help - the Menu bar also disabled
-
Jet Reports Historic Posts Could you please include a screen shot of the disabled ribbons?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Yes - as Attachment the Screen if JetReport AddIn is activate

Jet Reports Historic Posts A couple of generic questions:
Do you have more than one version of Excel installed?
If yes, this will cause issues with Office, and Jet.
Resolution: Uninstall multiple copies of Office/Excel
Did you have Jet Essentials installed before installing Express, or try to install them both.
You can not have both Essentials and Express installed at the same time.
Resolution: Uninstall both Essentials and Express, then re-install.
If these are not the issue,
Press Alt+F11
Look at the top left of the screen to see if the Jet Add-in is registered with the page.
Is it there? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I have only installed Office 2007 and i installed only Jet Express.
After ALT+F11 and Jet Express Add-In is activate then i can see the Add-In (Screenshot) -
Jet Reports Historic Posts First, please update to the latest version of the Jet Express.
Next, we need you to send us a log file of what is happening in Jet as you start up.
This requires direct manipulation of the "Settings.xml" file located in the "Jet Reports" sub-folder in the user's Application Data (%appdata%) folder.
After making a backup copy of the file, edit the file.
The key to find is: "LoggingEnabled":
Change this to: True
And set the value for the "LogFilePath".
{remember to configure the setting to False when you are done (or use the backup copy to restore the original settings)} -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I deinstallt the existing JetExpress
Download the new Version from the WebSite
Installed that.
Changed the Settings (Screenshot)
Start Excel - not Log File
Disable the Add-in
Activate the Add-in no Log File. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Please backup your current settings.xml file.
Next, download the attached (very generic) file.
Unzip it and use the resulting file to replace your current file.
Then, re-test.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Settings changed
Add-In activated
Excel restarted - No Log File
PC restarted, Excel started - No Log File
C:\Jetlog.txt is not created. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Given that you have already helped ensure that the Jet Express add-in is properly registered by using the "right-click, run-as-admin" install method, you may want to check that there are no issues with Excel itself by running a repair on Office:
Of course, you'll also want to make sure that Excel includes all available updates.

Jet Reports Historic Posts I have repaired the Office Installation - noch Error ocurred.
After restart the PC - activated the Jet Express Add-In - no Log File also no Menu Bar are visible.
So nothing got the solution.
So we stop's now to Install JetExpress and looking for other Solution to create Adoc Reports for our Controlling
