I have a problem with Jet Reports Express (32 bit on excel 2014 32 bit). When I refresh the report or just press enter within the cell I get am invalid cell reference error. Examples follow the explanation.
I check the data source setting and tried disabling and re-enabling Jet Reports, restarting, etc. Nothing has fixed the problem. On the plus side it seems to be worksheet specific.
How can I fix this problem?

In your first screen shot, I see #REF! in each column for row 219. Obviously, AB219 references cell AB3. What cells do the functions in columns X, Y, Z, and AA reference?

If you type the following function in any (previously empty) cell on that specific worksheet, what happens?
=GL("Balance","2410",,"8/31/2017")
What about on a worksheet in a new workbook?
Same error. Interestingly when I evaluate the formula I get the below. Notice the reference to B3:D3. My guess is that something I have done has caused that particular reference to point to the wrong cell.
Also after I refresh and the formulas break the link to "JetReports.xlam" disappears and it will not reconnect under any circumstance except for a new workbook as I alluded to before.
New workbooks work fine in case I didn't make that clear.
Ah! Now I'm beginning to understand. The issue does *not* lie with the cell reference to AB3 (etc). The issue is that Excel doesn't recognize the Jet Express add-in (and thus cannot find a function named "GL"). Excel is trying to reference a cell in column GL.
Something has definitely broken the link between the workbook and the add-in.
I would think the fastest option would be to copy/paste your contents to a new workbook.
That is what I have done already. I had made changes in power query (another excel add-on) which I have in the same workbook which I didn't want to have to redue. It was a minor change in this case but I am concerned if this happens again and I lose more work in PQ.
If you temporarily disable all other add-ins (File | Options | Add-ins), save the workbook, close Excel, open Excel, and open the workbook, is Excel then able to located the Jet Express GL function?
