I am adding information to G/L Entry lines based on the posting date as show
the problem is that this is failing for Closing Dates where I just Get Null
How do I get the join the work for Closing Dates?

Given how you are defining you Joins, I would recommend submitting a request to Jet Global Tech Support and see if one of the JDM experts can share something that might help.
