Hi Everyone, Jet Sceduler won't work when the update box is checked for my report. If it's not checked, the report runs fine. When I go into Windows Task Scheduler I run the report and it says running for a seemingly infinite amount of time... Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I assume you are attempting to set report filters from within the scheduled task like this:
If you run the report manually (not through the scheduler) with the same filters as you have listed in the scheduled task, what happens?
If you enable logging on the scheduled task:
When the task attempts to run, are there any error messages in the log file?

This is odd, and I've confirmed that this is what stops the report from sending:If update is checked, it's dead stick. I will try to get the log running, but it doesn't populate at all from what I can tell when update is checked...

Does the task run correctly if you use a legitimate value for the TODAY value? (your screen shot shows that you are sending a blank value to the report... that could definitely cause it not to run - depending on how the report is written).

I assume that when the report runs, it uses that date for some purpose.
e.g.,
So, the question comes down to: "What date do you want to pass to the report for it to use?"
Since you state that the report *is* generated and emailed when the box is *not* checked, this would indicate that the default data in that cell is legitimate (and also indicates that Excel *is* able to communicate with Outlook or SMTP - depending on which you are using for email).

Agreed on that point. When unchecked it simply sends out the report in it's last run state. It doesn't seem to update for the current date. It's going fine through both Outlook or SMTP, only the report hangs in the job queue when update is checked.
I've reached out to the Tech team and will update when I have an update from them!
