Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.Cell

Hi together,

have a problem with the run of Jet Reports 19.6.19018.1

Operating Systems: Win7, Office2010 & Nav2017, .NET Framework 4.6.1

Install process runs through, Excel with Jet-Addin runs but after restarting the PC, following error message occurs:

Der Typeninitialisierer für "Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.Cell" hat eine Ausnahme verursacht.

   bei Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.Cell..ctor()

   bei Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.DataCell..ctor()

   bei Jet.Common.UI.AssemblyLoader.Load()

   bei Jet.Common.UI.Windows.JetWindow..ctor()

   bei Jet.Common.UI.Windows.JetMessageBox..ctor(String message, String title, Icon icon, String helpUrl, Window owner, Boolean showShowMessageAgain, JetDialogButton[] buttons)

   bei Jet.Common.UI.Windows.JetMessageBox.Show(String message, String title, Icon icon, IntPtr owner, String helpUrl, Nullable`1 closeDialogResult, JetDialogButton[] buttons)

   bei cl.a(String directory, Boolean verbose)

   bei cl.a(String[] A_0)

Excel runs, Jet-Addin doesn't run, options say, it's active. It's not to de-install. Which mistake did I make?

  Hello Marit -

  It appears that something interfered with the installation of one of the underlying components.

  I would recommend uninstall Jet (using the same Jet Setup.exe file that you used to perform the installation) and then re-install.

  If that doesn't succeed in resolving this, there may have been an issue with the download of the installer.  I would uninstall then re-download the installer, and then re-install (using the newly-downloaded installer).

  Hi Harry,

  even before you answered, we tried all these things out. Downloaded the newest version of Jet Reports and re-installed it. The latest version of Jet Reports can not be uninstalled via control panel. The button is not shown anymore, we can only repair it or stop the task.

  You think, to uninstall everything and re-install the latest setup could solve that problem? I hope, but I guess, my customer did this also in fomer times... unfortunately without success.

  Any other Idea? :)

  Hi again,
  
  I received some further information from the customer:

  After the install-process everything works fine. All AddIns are active, Jet does what it should do. :)
  After restarting excel, the COM AddIn of Jet is missing, the Excel-AddIn is there but can not be activated. Guess, this caused the errors. But how to solve this problem?

  Solution was SO easy :D
  The User had no full access to the folder, the addins were stored. So, it's solved.
