USING <>VALUE1&<>VALUE2 NOT PRODUCING ANY RESULTS

I am using a rather large list of eliminated values as a filter.. and it is producing no results.  Report runs but doesn't include data which should be there. Is there any better way to achieve the same result?  Here are the values I want to exclude:  Customer Posting Groups <>BEST WEST&<>BOSLEYS&<>MR. PETS&<>PET PLANET&<>GLOBAL&<>PET VALU&<>TISOL&<>PETLAND-FR&<>PETLAND-PA&<>PETLAND

 

I have tried referencing the cell and hand typing in the filter window - but I cannot get the report to only exclude these customers... Is the list too long maybe?

  Update - I tried to create a NP Difference with this is my second array:

  =NL("Filter","Item Ledger Entry","Source No.","Source Type","Customer","Posting Date",$C$11,"Item No.","<>@@","Link=","Item","No.","=Item No.","Vendor No.",$C$4,"Link=Item Ledger Entry","Customer","No.","=Source No.","Customer Posting Group",$C$12,"Customer Disc. Group","NAT PLUS|ROPPS")

  Making $C$12 the list of customers I do not want to include but using the | sign instead of &<>.  Still report not producing any results.

  Hi Laura -

  Let's try to break this down to a simpler form:

  Does this function return all Customer Posting Group values other than PETLAND and TISOL?

  =NL("Rows","Item Ledger Entry","Customer Posting Group","Customer Posting Group","<>TISOL&<>PETLAND")

  Does this function return all Customer Posting Group values OTHER THAN those listed?

  =NL("Rows","Item Ledger Entry","Customer Posting Group","Customer Posting Group","<>BEST WEST&<>BOSLEYS&<>MR. PETS&<>PET PLANET&<>GLOBAL&<>PET VALU&<>TISOL&<>PETLAND-FR&<>PETLAND-PA&<>PETLAND")

  And, how about this one?

  =NL("Rows","Item Ledger Entry","Customer Posting Group","Customer Posting Group","<>'BEST WEST'&<>'BOSLEYS'&<>'MR. PETS'&<>'PET PLANET'&<>'GLOBAL'&<>'PET VALU'&<>'TISOL'&<>'PETLAND-FR'&<>'PETLAND-PA'&<>'PETLAND'")

  Thanks!  The single quotes seems to have done the trick!  All working perfectly now!

  For future reference, you may want to take a look at using Special Characters in a Filter.
