Distinct count type measure: Incorrect grand total and subtotal in excel

Hi All,

I don't know if there's an existing issue with what i would like to ask for help.

I have a measure in my cube that is set to distinct count type. This measure is source to "Transaction Count", aiming to get the count of transactions regardless of line item it contains. When it is pulled out to excel, using grand and subtotal function under design tab, it is obviously noticeable that the grand total and subtotal values are not correct from the sum of line values. Please see image below

Comparing with other measures, grand total of the docket count is the only incorrect one.

Any idea how can i address this issue?

  Hello Robert -

  Is Docket Count a measure in your cube or is it a calculated field?

  I ask because of this known Excel Pivot Table issue.

  Hi Harry,

  The Docket Count is a standard measure in the cube with a distinct count type.

  

  I have read the article, but it refers on a calculated field. While my measure is coming from a single field only it is counted in a distinct manner.

  In that case, I would recommend contacting Jet Tech Support by clicking the Submit a Request button at the top of this screen.
