Hello.

I have a file with a warning when I open it:

An open report contains CalcFields or CalcFilters, and Excel cannot execute Jet functions on multiple threads.  As a result, your reports may run slower until you restart Excel.

This is not an error just a warning.  The report works well if I execute with Excel opened, it takes about 45min.  However when I schedule the report it doesn't work well, it creates a pdf with only 1 page in a minute without any calculation on it (it is supposed to have more than 200 pages).

Why does this happen?

  Hello Pablo.

  Although I doubt if having to run on a single thread is causing your scheduled task issue, I would definitely recommend submitting this to Jet Technical Support.  They may have seen something like this before and certainly have been tools at their disposal for troubleshooting the issue than we can do in this open forum.

  Hello Harry thank you for your advise.

  I contacted the technical people and I updated from 19.4.18353.1 to 19.8.19072.1 as the message doesn't exist on the newer version.  Now it seems my report is running properly.

  So just in case anyone has the same problem it is only a question of update the client.
