Item sales per customer and year to year?

Hello everyone,

I need some help creating a report including the following:

Item sales by quantity by customer during a user defined period compared to the same period last year. I also need to be able to filter the report after Sales Person and U o M.

I'm not a particularly advanced user of Jet Reports and a few days of failing in trial and error is driving me somewhat crazy. I can get the information out of NAV allright but can't get the report to display the two different timelines.

A simple table is all i need, really, in the following format:

Item no | Item Description | Customer Name | Units Sold 2018 | Units Sold 2019

I really hope someone out there can help me!

  Without seeing what you current have that is working, I can only guess but realistically, if you need to compare Units Sold in one period compared to another, that is the same NL(Sum) function with different date filters applied to them.

  I would assume it would looks like

  NL(Rows=4) from Item Ledger Entry for Item No.  --  NL(First) from Item table for Description

  NL(Rows) from Item Ledger Entry for Customer No. --  NL(First) from Customer table for Customer Name

  NL(Sum) from Item Ledger entry for units sold 2018  --  NL(Sum) from Item Ledger entry for units sold 2019
