I have a user that opens an Excel Workbook with a Jet Formula and it works fine. The problem is that when the user opens up another normal workbook the entire top bar is grayed out. If I disable the Jet Add In the workbooks open normally. If I open the workbooks first and then the Jet Report workbook second the top bar remains. It's only if I open the Jet Report workbook first and then any other workbook that the entire top ribbon is grayed out. Jet appears to be working fine but for some reason the add in is causing an issue with normal Excel workbooks. Has anyone else had this issue? Any help is appreciated.

Andrew Watson I am currently experiencing the exact same issues for both myself and several general users. As you've described, whenever a second Excel workbook is opened from File Explorer, the entire Excel ribbon is greyed out as per the below image.
As a temporary workaround, I've advised users to press the Alt key to display the ribbon shortcut followed by F to open the File menu, which when closed displays the ribbon as normal. This is obviously a short-term workaround and would prefer to get the issue resolved.
Just for reference, we are currently working on Jet Essentials 2015 Update 1 version 15.1.16119.0 and Microsoft Office 2016 version 16.0.12130.20272.
As a test to resolve the issue, I've renamed the Jet Reports user folder located at C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Jet Reports and loaded Excel again to recreate the Settings.xml file, but unfortunately this has not resolved the issue.
Does anyone have a recommend solution to attempt to resolve this issue?

Luis Santiago Hi,
I reached out to both Jet Support and Microsoft Support and found that the October 30th Microsoft Office Update release version 1910 was causing the issue. The build number you mentioned matches the build I was having issues with. I reverted the version of Office back to 1909 for two separate users and it seems to have resolved the issue for now. Microsoft released an updated build of version 1910 yesterday but I'm holding off until next month before updating Office again just to be safe. I'd say try reverting to last month's Office version 1909 and see if it works for you too.

Chikin Joe I'm encountering the same issue with Office Version 1911 and Jet Essentials 2015 Update 1 Version 15.1.16098.0. Any updates on this issue?
Thanks
