Using the Same FilterField Twice

I would like to filter a field based on the same filter and have it do both items. For example, I would like to filter for all job task lines that start with 3 and end in .00. Another example would be a job task line that starts with 3 and ends in .01-.99. I know how to use * and .. for the wild card and the range but when I go to put in the 2 arguments in the filterfield it gives me zero results. How can I make this work? Or is there an easier way to go about it? I have a large set of numbers and I need to separate them by both their begging and ending digits.
