Office 365 Autosave with the Jet Reports Excel add-in

Office 365 installations of Excel 2016 feature the AutoSave feature.

This feature is fully compatible with the Jet Excel add-in.  Because AutoSave works "behind the scenes" to save your file every few seconds, it is possible to save modifications over a file that you did not intend to change.

If you do not want to save changes to an important file, you can turn AutoSave Off for a file, and Excel will remember to keep it off every time you reopen that file.
