Overview
If you are setting up many workstations with the same Data Source and/or Application settings, you may want to set up the first workstation, then export these settings and import them to all other workstations. You can also use the Export feature as a way to back up these settings.
Exporting Data Source Settings:

| 1 | Open the Data Source Settings |
| 2 | Click the Export button and then choose Data Sources... (In some early versions, select File | Export. ) |
| 3 | Select which Data Sources you want to export and press OK |
| 4 | Choose a name and location for the exported .xml file |
| 5 | Click Save |
Importing Data Source Settings:
| Step | Action |

| 1 | Open the Data Source Settings and select File | Import |
| 2 | Click the Import button and choose Data Sources... (in some early versions, select File | Import.) |
| 3 | Browse to the exported .xml file that you saved and select Open |
| 4 | Select which Data Sources you want to import |
| 5 | Select OK |
Exporting Application Settings:

| 1 | Open the Application Settings and select Export... at the bottom of the form |
| 2 | Choose a name and location for the exported .xml file |
| 3 | Click Save |
Importing Application Settings:

| 1 | Open the Application Settings and select Import... at the bottom of the form |
| 2 | Browse to the exported .xml file that you saved |
| 3 | Select Open |
Note:
Data source settings are stored in the datasources.xml file found in the user's roaming profile folder.
You can find that file by opening Windows Explorer, typing %appdata% in the address bar and pressing enter.
This will take you to your roaming profile folder C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\
