You do not have permission to run the 'System9110' system


Overview

When using Jet Reports to connect to a data source for Dynamics NAV 2009R2 (or earlier), the following error appears:

Complete text of error message is:

You do not have permission to run the 'System9110' system.

Cause

The majority of communications between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Jet Excel Add-In are handled by Dynamics NAV's C/Front utility (part of the NAV SDK).

This error indicates that your Dynamics NAV license or the copy of FIN.FLF in the Dynamics NAV Classic Client folder does not include the C/Front granule (#1800).

If there are multiple Dynamics NAV Client folders, this error can also be caused if any of those folders contains a FIN.FLF file which does not include the C/Front granule.

Resolution

If you do not have the 1800 granule, contact your Dynamics NAV partner to obtain it.

If there are multiple Dynamics NAV Client folders, ensure that the correct NAV license file (with the C/Front granule) is in each folder.
