Error: Error in Command: TimeXtender.DataManager.TXEnvironmentSettingsController

Symptoms

When using the Development Toolkit, you may receive the following error message if the necessary SQL Server ports are not open on the servers being used:

"Error in Command:
TimeXtender.DataManager.TXEnvironmentSettingsController
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"

Resolution

To resolve the issue, ensure that the ports that are being used for the Development Deployment Toolkit are open on the server(s).  You can determine the ports that need to be opened by looking at the local ports used during the configuration of the Development Deployment Toolkit.
