Removing the Jet Business Objects


Expert - Requires NAV Administrator access

Overview

The Jet Excel add-in (version 12.5 and higher) includes the ability to report from databases for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 and higher through NAV's Web Services.

To accomplish this, the Jet Business Objects must first be installed to your NAV system.  Should you ever need to uninstall the Business Objects, please follow these simple steps:

Uninstalling the Jet Business Objects

  1. Open the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment and then connect to the database

  2. Open the Object Designer (on the Tools menu, choose Object Designer )

  3. Select All to see all business objects.

  4. Select all the business objects in the 14125500-509 range, right-click and select Delete. When asked if you want to delete the selected lines, click Yes.
