In SSIS one can create a "foreach" loop that runs through all the files in a folder (same metadata) and import them individually.
How would I in Jet Data manager import all the files in a folder without specifying each file one by one as a datasource?
I noticed a "add Multiple text file" datasource selection option. Would that be it?
You can use that feature if you are trying to import multiple identically formatted text files. If the format is different, you would have to set up a data source for each unique file.
If you are adding a multiple text files data source, enter the path to the files you want to process separated by semicolon (;) in the File box. You can also use wildcards. Use "*" for any number of characters and "?" for a single character. You can also click the folder icon next to the File box to choose the file to process.
