One of our customers with NAV2013R2 upon Refresh of a Jet Reports Express report receives the following error message:
''Invoking the web service failed with the following message:
The request failed with HTTP status 417: Expectation failed''
Test connection gives him no error messages. A dedicated instance is running for Jet reports.
Does anyone know the answer to this problem?

Was this user successfully able to connect prior to this error occurring and is no longer able to connect and Refresh reports?
If this is the case you may need to check the proxy/firewall to see if there is something being blocked.
Another option would be restarting the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server service from Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services (keep in mind that this will kick any one that is in NAV out of NAV while the service restarts).
