I have made a jet report that works in my excel 2003 - after I have upgraded to Office2007 there's a problem with the date.
I have a input cell for the reports start date. When the date start with a zero for instance 1/1/07 (010107) I lose the format when going in design mode.
In design mode, I have set the cell format to "text" and typed the date 1/1/07 - the first time I run the report it works fine - but when I go back to design mode, it returns the dates reference number (39083) After this I can't run the report without changing all my date cells again.
Have any one experienced this problem and how did you solve it?
Are there a function in Jet, where I can use the date refernce number (39083) insted af the text 010107?

Jet Reports Historic Posts I'm still using 2003, but I have always just set the field type to be a "date" instead of "text". Is there a reason not to do this in 2007?
