I have created a report using the "Item Ledger Entry" table and grouped it by "Product Group Code" and then "Item No.". However, I need to add a further group at the top level based on the "Inventory Posting Group" field. The problem is that this Inventory Posting Group field is not in the Item Ledger Entry table. It is in the "Item" table. I would like to know how to add this group in and what formula do I need to use to be able to group firstly by Inventory Posting Group, then by Product Group Code and then by Item No. I need to be able to drill down to each roll to see the exact value of what it cost us hence the reason I am using the Item Ledger Entry table.
I sent the request above to "support" and received some help back but now I am stuck with this problem instead…
