FILTER on IS NOT NULL in SQL

Hi,

I am Using the Universal conector and a MS SQL database. I am using an SQL+ statement with a %FILTER1% statement. I need to sum all the balances on items that have a date in a certain range. Some of the dates are null values. I don't want these values. I have tried to use "IS NOT NULL". This is the the syntax that works in the SQL server window. It does not work.

Does anone have any ideas?
