I have a Jet Report That pulls the GL account from PO's.
If there is GL account, items, or fixed assets on the PO's, it will look to the appropriate tables and pull the GL accounts.
Now that I have all the GL accounts lined up in one column, Q9, I want to sort this report by column Q, because then from here i am going to use excel and subtotal by GL account.
Any idea how I can utilize Jet or Excel to get my column Q to sort ? I have attached the report.
I am using Jet 2009.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Cveale,
I know you posted this a long time ago but just in case you want to know how to resolve this I figured I would respond. Any time you want to create a subtotal you need to create a grouping report. If you first create a list of the G/L Accounts, then you can list the lines form the Purchase Line table for those accounts, you will be able to add your subtotals for the accounts. I think there is an example of a groupig report in the Jet Reports Help that might help you…..
