I am very new to Jet Reports so forgive a dumb question.
I am running GP
On installing friendly names and creating and populating the new SQL tables, if at a later date new GP modules or SQL views are added to GP do I have to run the update option again to add the new tables or views into the browser
I have looked through the manual but couldn't find the answer

If a new module is added to GP, you would have to run the update tool again in order for the friendly names to show up in the Browser. However, the tables themselves would show up (with physical names) since the schema information in the Browser is populated directly from the database. The same goes for new SQL views, they will be read dynamically with no action required on your part. Hope this helps!
