Hello all,
I am having issues with the reporting built into salesforce and it was recommended to me that I look into crystal reports. I have heard that jet reports is a lot more user friendly and am interested in knowing if jet reports can report on salesforce data.
I am after fairly simple reports like.
Cust Name Activity YTD Activity MTD Activity LY
Customer 1
Customer 2
Customer 3
Salesforce cannot create this type of tabular report.
Thanks,
Scott

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Scott,
I am not super familiar with Salesforce's database backend, but Jet Reports can connect to any database with an OLE or ODBC provider. A quick google search shows me that there may be a couple of providers that might allow Jet to connect to the Salesforce database. Namely http://www.forceamp.com/dbamp.htm and http://www.datadirect.com/techres/oasf.html.
You'd could contact a Jet Reports salesperson and get a demo license for Jet and then try to get it connected using one of these providers (assuming you could get a demo license or equivalent for the provider as well).
Does that help?
Regards,
Hughes
