We have a report we have been using for some time. Now I want to use this report on a different data source and/or company. Refreshing the report manually isn't a problem: just select a different data source and/or company in Excel and refresh it.
How can I do this using Autopilot? The only suggested solution I've found so far is adding filters ("datasource=", "company="), but this means I'll have to add this to every formula in the report :o
Any other suggestions???

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hi Rene,
Yes, that's the way to do it if you have multiple data sources. And you don't have to change all your functions: only the NL and GL functions.
Hopefully this lightens the burden a bit. Good luck and 'fijne avond!' -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hans,
Thanks for the response.
I understand the power of being able to retrieve data from multiple sources within one report. And that one would need a solution like this to achieve that effect.
All I want to do is automate something that can be achieved by a user in two clicks! Now I'll have to change the report and hope I don't miss any references
Next time I setup a report, I'll make sure to include the data source and company in all NL and GL functions :geek:
