SQL Server As Datasource

I have a separate SQL Server database that does not have any connection with Navision.
I am trying to add a new Jet Reports Data Source referring to the above database, but it shows the following message:
"You are not licensed for this data source". Using the Jet Browser, I could see all tables and fields, but I am unable to do anything else. Is this something to do with our licence since the datasource on the licence is only for "Navision"?
What should I do if I need to use Jet Reports to access this database?
