I have workbook_open code that needs to run before my actual jet report. what is the syntax for
application.run (or a different command) so that I can specify a specific report, with a specific path

Not sure if you have found an answer to your inquiry.
Have you checked out Microsoft.com sites for this syntax?
I don't believe that this is a Jet Reports supported function.
