Hi,
I'm using the "Dynamic Batch Scheduling" feature on Jet Reports Essential 2013.
Part of that feature is that emails are sent out to a predefined list of users. I'm sending the emails via SMTP as it's the company policy and was the indicated technical solution.
My question is: How do I incorporate format in the emails going out? Basically I would need to have parts of the body section in bold and also a picture on the email signature. Is this even possible?
Many Thanks,
Tiago

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
At this time, there is no way to add formatting to the outgoing email. It will only understand carriage returns.
Perhaps submit this request in the Suggestions message board as a feature you would like to see. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts That's a great question, Tiago.
As best I have been able to determine in doing some basic research, both text formatting and the inclusion of graphics in SMTP would require the ability to embed HTML code within the body of your email text.
This is not something I have personally attempted. However, if you are able to do so, I'm sure this audience would be most interested in hearing about your results! -
Jet Reports Historic Posts HP is correct that you can embed HTML into emails however the Jet Scheduler does not support sending HTML emails. This is why you can't add any formatting to your Jet Scheduler emails.
