BOM Component Consumption Report

We are trying to create a report that shows the forecasted consumption of each item, including where it is used in BOMs. For example, item number 'BR7' is sold and shipped as a BR7, but is also consumed via various BOMs at various levels. I want to be able to compile all forecasts on the BOMs to determine what the demand of the individual component is.

The "Where-Used Line" seems to have the building blocks of what I need, but I am having trouble connecting this table to the actual item component. I have also tried doing BOM explosion reports via several different methods to get to the base components and then work back up that way, but it seems very inefficient since I am not able to filter which BOMs I am exploding based on the component item.
