How does Jet obtain the information?

Bit of a strange question, but if I schedule Jet to run all reports in a folder, how does it cache the data?

Basically, I have a set of reports that take around 14 hours to run in total (15 x reports at 55 mins each) all are in a single folder.

Each report has the NP("eval",Today() ) formula to calculate the next 12 months start and end dates and to create headings. my question is, if the reports started at 7:00 PM on the last day of the month, would the date formula still remain the same for each report?

eg :report 6 is sent by email at 11:59 and report 7 is sent at 00:30, would both show the same start month?

Not sure if I am explaining this correctly.

  Hi Simon -

  Your example is focused on when the report is emailed.

  The TODAY() function is an Excel function and is, thus, calculated by Excel when the report is run.

  Assuming that report 7 takes 55 minutes to run and is *emailed* at 12:30am, one could assume that the TODAY() function was probably calculated on the day *prior* to when the report is emailed.

  Ignoring the 55-minute run time, however, a report which is run late night on day 1 will show day 1's date while a report run early morning on day 2 will show day 2's date.

  Assuming that both day 1 and day 2 fall within the same month, one could further assume that the calculated month would be the same.
