need to group the records

Dear all,

I have attached a file and i need to group the data by date like below 1949 and 1949- 1958 and greater than 1958. how can i do that ?? i also need the sub group IA BA as it is and need to sum up the count according to above date grouping. Is it possible or not ??

  Hello Suman -
  
  Once you have used Jet Express to create a table of data, you can then create a Pivot Table based on that data (just was you have done in your example).
  
  After running your report, click anywhere within the resulting table and then choose "PivotTable" from Excel's Insert ribbon. The "Select a table or range" should default to the name applied by the Table Builder:
  
  
  
  You can then design your Pivot Table to provide the format you require.
