I am just downloading and trying to install Jet Express for NAV.
When I try to install to a client, I receive an error "Compile Error in HIdden Module" when it tries to activate. When I run Excel, there is no Jet Report tab. I see this issue occured in the past for other users on the forum, and so I tried the solutions: Make sure all instances/processes of Excel are not running, I ran the installer as admin and domain admin. To no avail.
I am trying to install to 64 bit Win 8. I notice Win 8 is not listed in the specs, is it not supported?
Any advice appreciated.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Something is blocking the automatic installation of Jet.
You can manually enable it.
Instructions can be found here:
http://kb.jetreports.com/article/AA-00497
If it still does not stay loaded, start Excel as Administrator, and do the manual activation again.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Many thanks for the response.
I Followed the steps mentioned. Interestingly, it asks for a password when I try to manually enable Jet Reports…??

Jet Reports Historic Posts What is the bit version of Excel?
You want to match the bit installation of Jet to the bit installation of Excel, not the OS. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts AH! That must be it. I was using 64 bit jet express with 32 bit office.
