Index Out of Bounds Error

I'm new to the Jet Express product and have an issue when running large reports which a linked to another table.

The data that I'm working with expands over 334 columns and when I try to refresh the table I receive the following error:

Invoking the web service failed with the following message: Index out of bounds

However, if I reduce the data to 126 columns, running the report is not a problem.

Does anyone know a solution for this issue? Is there a maximum amount of columns allowed?

  Can you attached a screenshot of the error and a copy of the report to get a better idea of what may be happening in this instance?

  I have attached an image of the error I'm receiving.
  
  The top of the image displays the "Refresh" portion which includes the error and the bottom portion displays the "Design" phase.

  Hi MWilson,
  
  I have download and installed the latest version of Jet Express on my computer (Version 14.1.14177.0) and still have the same error when trying the create the report.
  
  In another forum where I posted the same question, the individual mentioned that it could be due to the amount of memory available to Excel.

  This error usually represents a memory error from my research which would align with the description of the problem.
  The limit is the actual amount of memory available to Excel.
  
  You mention that reducing the number of columns helps, that that is only half the equation.
  If your report ends up with 10,000 rows to go along with your columns, you are looking at 3.34 million cells.
  
  You can go to the Windows Task Manager, and if the Excel memory usage exceeds 1Gb, you may be hitting the limit but is dependent on your version/bitness of your Excel.
  
  Excel can have up to 16,384 columns and Excel should be able to use them all, but your computer may not be able to handle that much data.

  From what I understand, you are able to allocate memory more efficiently with 64 bit versions of software compared to 32 bit version which is what I am running.
  
  Therefore, would you think if I upgrade to 64 bit versions, it may alleviate my issue?

  Since you are using Express, upgrading to the 64bit version of Excel won't help.
  
  If you are using Web Services to connect your DB, whether you use 32bit or 64bit, it is going to be very, very slow.
  
  Additionally, using 64 bit Excel with Web Services can cause a higher instance of memory "clog" because of the extra information needing to be stored that allows 32 bit and 64 bit communication.
  
  My biggest question would really be, do you really need all of that data in one report?
  Can it be broken down into multiple reports or filtered so it doesn't return so much data?
  
  I would ask myself, "Do I need all 334 columns? If yes, can I filter this so I get all 334 columns but return fewer rows to get the data I need?"
  
  If you report has to be that large, you may want to look into upgrading to Jet Essentials which may help you with this specific report because there are different connectors available to you.
