Hi folks, I'm relatively new to Jet Reports but have successfully been able to schedule reports, to output them to various directories and to email them. However, I have not figured out how to have a scheduled report overwrite or update the previous scheduled report of the same name. I have a report that needs to run daily and either overwrite the older version or somehow create a new version in some other capacity. Right now, it will not produce a new report if there is an existing report in the output folder with the same name. When I delete the older version (so that no file by that name is in the output folder), the new one is generated properly. Can you assist in helping me figure out a way to have newer versions get produced and stored without me having to first manually move/rename/delete the prior version(s)? Any help would be great.

Jet Reports Historic Posts I have to say I haven't seen what you're describing happen to myself.
Our reports in the 'output' directory are automatically replaced with the updated version when the schedule runs.
I would personally check the permissions on the output directory, and check the account you are running the reports as has the correct permissions. I would also check that the Excel processes are being correctly cleaned up on completion. Use task manager to check for excel.exe running.
Has anybody else out there seen this before?
