Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Suzuki,
We understand you load and clear - your English is just fine :)
If you look at the Jet Reports manual for Version 7 on page 79 you will find an explanation that characters as ( and ) are considered to be special characters. You need to put @@ in front of your filter.
If in your report the city name would be in Cell E4 and you would like to calculate the amount in Cell E5, the function could be like:
NL("Sum";"Name of your Table";"Name of your Amount field";"Name of your City Field";"@@"&E4)

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi hansfousert !!
thank you very very much for your speed to answer me…and tell you that solution that you give me es 100% OK !!! ;)
With @@ in my filter, give to me a report with all amounts of all of the cities that i want, i see the "help" in my jet reports for to use the special codes to filters.
Finally, i put this filter in my NL :
=NL("Hojas";"Lín. histórico recog. prog.";"Descripción provincia";"Descripción provincia";"@@"&$C$4)
in spanish…of course. The amounts that i want are in other NL by months, and i connect the two NL with a field that depends of the field "Descripción provincia"…and this filed is where i have some names with ( )…. that was the problem…but with your solution all OK !!!
thank you again…an see you soon in this web sure!! i am a Beginner user of jet reports …
¡ MUCHAS GRACIAS !
