Hi
In "Item ledger entry" I would like to get last entry (purchase or positive adjustment) before a given date.
=NL(-1;"Item Ledger Entry";;"Item No.";"9999";"Entry Type";"purchase|Positive Adjmt.";"Posting Date";"..311008")
The above always gives me last "Positive Adjmt."
How do I set a filter to give me last entry which could be either Purchase or Positive adjustment ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Mdp12,
I don't think you want to do this with 1 single filter function. You would have to sort by entry no, but NAV will take its time to apply the filters :(
Haven't tried this but my suggestion is to create 2 filter functions: 1 for purchase and 1 for positive adjustment. Compare the entry no and you will know which entry is the last 1.EntryNoPurch: =NL(-1;"Item Ledger Entry";"Entry no.";"Item No.";"9999";"Entry Type";"Purchase";"Posting Date";"..311008") EntryNoPos =NL(-1;"Item Ledger Entry";"Entry no.";"Item No.";"9999";"Entry Type";"Positive adjmt.";"Posting Date";"..311008") LastEntryNo =IF(EntryNoPurch>EntryNoPos;EntryNoPurch;EntryNoPos) =NL("First";"Item ledger entry";;"Entry no.";LastEntryNo)
Does this make sense? Please let me know if this works for you! -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hansfousert
Thank you for your answer - this will work alright.
I will split it in 2 filters.
