Hi All;
I'm a newbie to JR and wondered if someone can help with this little quandary……
I have created a JR with 2 tabs (Options and Report) which runs great.
I have then added a new tab which I want to use Standard Excel functionality for. The problem I have is that when I run the report to generate the data, JR seems to think its a good idea to add Auto+Hide to my excel only sheet and completely ruins the formatting/ graphs etc.
How do I tell JR that I do not want it to touch this sheet ? Have I made a mistake by calling the sheet "Summary" ? Is this a reserved word in JR ?
Many thanks in advance.
Dean.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Dean!
I think, Jetreports will always use the first row and column.
So you have to design your graphs and formatting without using first row and column.
The best way is, to choose the "JR"-design-mode after running your jetreport. Then you will see the values, that JR used and set in the first row and column.
Then create your graph and formatting, without overwriting the JR-values in the first row/column.
Then save your jetreport.
When you start your jetreport the next time, the graph and formatting should be Ok.
Please try and give me an update!

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Mike,
I hadn't used the first 3 rows but I had used the first column. I changed this as per your suggestion and it makes a holy mess of the table formatting :(
Its functional (from a data perspective) but not presentable at this stage without me doing any more work (which was the idea behind creating it as a jet report).
Any other suggestions ?
TIA

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Dean,
Sorry, but i've no idea.
Can you upload the xls with the correctly formatted sheet?
Or just describe the formatting you made.

Jet Reports Historic Posts One really simple way is to have a second workbook which links to the first one. Aside from the setup this would generate no more work. All updates would be automatic, but the 2nd(presentation) book would be free of JR and allow you to format to your hearts content!!
