I am just wondering for what usecases the new scanlimit= function could be used. Are there any ideas for it in the community?
I could think of using it for catching samples out of data and use it for probability-calculation. However I don't really know how scanlimit works…
Maybe someone from Jet Reports can tell me what rule is behind this formular and which data will be scanned in what way?

Jet Reports Historic Posts I personally dont use it.
i use Limit= during report Testing and thats about it.
perhaps if there is a huge table (G/L or Sales Price) and you only want the first 100 entries ect.
Actually, thinking about it more,
it would work if your using the default Nav sorting Keys.
i.e.
you want the first 100 customers.
These are already sorted by No.
