Calc Field showing 0

I created a report that uses a calculated field or flow field. It should show me the cost of equipment from the service item table. If I look at the table wihin Nav the value shows but when I put it on the report the value is 0.

This is the formula for the field that I am using: =NF($H9,"Cost Amount(Actual)","Date Filter",$C$2)

Is there somehting you have to do in the NL function for the NF function to calculate the total?
Is there something in setup you have to do to calculate the totals?
I am using Jet2009.
