Total Sales Order Value for a Period

Hi,
I need a report which calcs the total sales order value for a period. He have to check the values as in the table sales line as well in the table sales line archive.

I created a Jet Report which checks if there is a sales order. When the sales order was already archived (but is active), then the report get the sum of the active sales order. But I also need the values from completely archived sales orders for the same period. So the question is how to create a Jet Report which get the values only once in a line table.
