Multiple tables

I am using Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1… Can someone point me to a white paper, tutorial, or inform me how to add multiple tables in the report builder.
For example i want to add the Item,Item Vendor, and Purchase prices for a report. Actually to be more specific I am needing the Item table to pull a report—- and a sub report to be linked that will pull from the Purchase price, and Item Vendor table . It seems I cant seem to upload a pic of the example I am trying to accomplish :cry:
