Good afternoon
We have had a demo today of Jet Reports because we are sturggling to produce a report in Dynamics GP through smartlists that can pick up information from various areas.
When i asked if we could produce a single report pulling information from two different parts of GP eg. Financial and Field Service he wasn't too sure. The demo he gave us used examples using only one part eg. RM.
He mentioned that we might need to create new SQL links (Sorry, not too sure if this is what he really meant) so that we can access information from two areas in one go.
So, my impression is that Jet does not allow reporting straight away using any part of a database with any other part of a database?
Is this the case?
Apologies if i have not been too clear but happy to clear up any confusion if i can!
Many thanks

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Dutch,
Actually whoever gave you the demo was incorrect. Jet can pull data from any table in the database in the same report. In order to relate the data from one table to the data in another, you might need to know which fields are related across tables, but Jet can definitely pull data from any table in the database within the same report. Thanks for the question; let me know if you want a more specific example and I'm sure we can figure something out.
Kind regards,
Hughes
