I just started with Jet Reports V 12 (database = Nav 2009) and viewed the slicer tool in a webinar.
I have created a pivot table. I'd like to add some slices, but the command button is greyed out.
In sheet 1 in cel a1 is= Auto+Hide+Values
In sheet "pivot table" cel a1 = Auto+Hide
Excel = 2010
The file is in report modus.
I think it has someting to do that the file is in "Compatibility mode". How can I disabel the compatibility mode?
Kind regards,
Saskia Kuijer

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hi Saskia,
I'm actually not sure what command you're talking about that is disabled. Are you talking about the Jet Jfx? Are you talking about some Excel functionality? The Jet Jfx which you might use to write an NP(Slicer) function is only available in design mode, so you'll have to put your report back into design mode to use it (Jet -> Design).
In order to get Excel out of compatibility mode, save your Excel file in one of the new Excel formats (xlsx, xlsb, xlsm, etc.) instead of the old xls. Then you also need to change Excel's default save format in the Excel options at the top of the "Save" page. After this, close and reopen Excel and you should no longer be in compatibility mode. Does this help?
