For a specific report a colleague sent me a list of approx. 250 Main Job numbers for which he wants a report to be run .
At first I thought I could copy the Main Job numbers in the Option field as a filter, but then the report errors because the filter is too long.
Then I copied the list into a cell on the Options sheet, referring to that cell in the Option, but this also results in the same error.
Next I tried to make a separate filter using NL(Filter) but that also gives the same error.
I tried splitting up the list, but then I would need to cut it up into a lot of separate short lists.
Is there another option that I can try in order to run the report and get the results in 1 list?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment All,
It appears that users have been making empty entries  to the table Matching Fund Assignment in which I filtered for Job No's, so there were no matches in the Job table.
I removed the empty records, and it works again. :!:
Until next time ;)

Jet Reports Historic Posts hello,
look at this topic, maybe that's a way for you…
http://community.jetreports.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3058&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=filter+characters#p9186
but, btw..isn't there an other way to get these main numbers directly from navision?
do they have one common issue to filter at?

Jet Reports Historic Posts @Jetsetter: thanks, I will check out the link you sent.
As to your question about getting the main numbers in another way: no, i'm afraid not :(
My colleague has meticulously jotted down the projects a specific software application was used, and that is the only common denominator.
It was my first question….. :)
