Usually this issue occurs because the default server settings in the user's Dynamics NAV ClientUserSettings.config file are different than the server settings specified in the Jet Data Source Settings > Drilldown tab.
e.g. using the IP address in one and the server name in the other.
Another cause of this is when the Dynamics NAV RTC (or Classic Client) is not actually installed on the computer but instead the installation directory was just copied over to the computer. The solution would be to fully install the Dynamics NAV RTC (or Classic Client).
