All Fields Returning #VALUE

Hiya Guys,

 

I've created a simple Report based on the "G/L Entry" Table (which used to work!) - however, for some reason, the Report now only ever returns "#VALUE" in EVERY Cell - for EVERY Row (except for the "NL" Function which is returning correctly).

 

Interestingly - if I select a Cell and click "Jet > Debug" the correct result is instantly returned.  I've tried recreating the Report from scratch but still no luck.

 

Does anyone have any ideas as to what has happened or how I can fix this?!

  Hi Steve,

  Just curious, but what version of Jet are you running? 

  I have seen this same behavior in a report once and turning off the batch function execution allowed the report to finish without errors. You can see if that helps this report run but turning this feature off in your Jet -> Application Settings -> Performance. (See screenshot below.) I will remind you that turning this off will make your reports run slower so don't leave it turned off always.

  Hiya Sarah,

   

  Thank you for your input - I am running Jet Professional 2017 R2 16.1.17118.0.

   

  Once I disabled "Batch Processing" the Report did in fact complete successfully!... however, it took >6hrs!!!

   

  I've passed this over to our Support (who will no doubt contact Jet directly)... if I get a resolution I will let you know.  In the meantime, if you can think of anything else to try, please let me know.

  What was the resolution to this issue if you don't want to disable batch processing?  I am experiencing this same of #VALUE!! being returned for amounts pulling from the Gen Journal Line table on a report that I am using both G/L Entry and Gen. Journal Line.  When I click "check error" the value populates in that cell.  When I click "Unhide" from the Report menu, all values show.

  I would suggest contacting the Tech Support team so that they can work with your specific report
