I built a usable table using the table builder however I want to redesign the table using functionals (more manual) I have 80% of my report working but I am having trouble replicating the function to include items only when it is found on another table (see screenshot below).
I tried using the "<>@@" Filter in the field I need pulled in but it is still pulling in blanks.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I will be honest, the TableBuilder is not the ideal for report building. There are many limitations, especially when it comes to linking multiple tables to the report.
It could be that your link between the tables in incorrect or incomplete. I also notice that your filters are * so when you put actual value, does that limit the results? Otherwise you are just saying anything, so nothing is really "Only when VendLedger is found".
I would point u to two places. What you are trying to do is very complicated in Jet (frustrating, I know). I've tried it before and just given up. I wish you good luck. Here are two resources:
The first one, go through the whole thing, but the filtering part happens 2/3 of the way down under the "Thats it!" section.
The second one, this guy made some excellent videos that have helped me. This one is along the same lines as the above instructions and may lead you down the right path.
